What is Semi-Permanent Makeup?

Semi-Permanent Makeup, also known as PMU or Micropigmentation, is a revolutionary method of inserting small amounts of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin in order to enhance a woman's features. This state-of-the-art technique is medically proven and specifically designed to be completely safe.

PMU Brows

Say goodbye to sparse or uneven eyebrows. With our PMU Brows treatment, you can wake up every day with perfectly shaped and coloured brows. We offer a couple of different options, that will suit each client individually. We are here to help and guide you to choose the best style/type for you!

Microblading: For a natural look, opt for subtle hair-like strokes that mimic your natural brow hairs. Microblading is done with a handheld tool and a super fine blade.

Powder/Ombre Brows: For a soft and full look, the Ombre technique is your go-to option. We use a PMU machine to create soft layers of pixels to create the powdered effect.

Combination Brows: Get the best of both worlds with a mix of hair strokes and powder techniques.

Brow Colour Boost: Refresh the shape and colour of your brows with our top-up appointment. Top up appointments are required 12-18 months after initial appointments to keep your brows looking fresh.

Lip Blush:

Do you struggle with lack of natural colour to your lips, or not having a defined border? Lip blush will help. Using a PMU machine to implant pixels of pigment, we define the outline and add overall colour and shape to the lips. We can match to your favourite lipstick too!

Post-Treatment Care for Your New Arches

Congratulations on your new brows! To ensure they heal beautifully and maintain their pigment, it's essential to care for them properly post-treatment.

Immediate Aftercare:

Sensitivity: Your brows have undergone a procedure, so they'll be sensitive. Protect them from excessive UV rays and sun exposure, including sunbeds for two weeks post treatment.

Daily Care for the 7-14 days:

Day 1: Gently press a clean tissue over your brows to absorb any lymph fluid as demonstrated hourly, until the tissue appears clear and dry. Only apply the aftercare balm during this period to keep them hydrated.

Days 2-7: Apply the brow aftercare balm for hydration and protection, twice daily (AM & PM). If there is a build up of dry skin, you may use a gentle cleanser to lightly cleanse the area, pat completely dry using a clean tissue/towel and reapply aftercare balm.

This ointment shields against infections and environmental factors. Always wash your hands before and after application.

What to Avoid:

Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup on or around the brows for the first week.

Touching: Avoid scratching, picking, itching, or rubbing the brows. This can lead to uneven healing, infections, scarring, and pigment loss.

Heat/Cold Exposure: For 14 days post-treatment, avoid saunas, sunbathing, and tanning beds. Apply high factor SPF to the area if you are exposing yourself to UV rays after 14 days.

Important Notes:

Post-procedure, your brows will appear up to 50% darker. This will lighten after 4-7 days, but the true colour won't be fully evident until 4 weeks post-treatment. Your brows will go through a ghosting stage where the colour will fade significantly, and then reappear. This is a normal part of the healing journey.

Do not undergo any other permanent or semi-permanent cosmetic procedures within 4 weeks of your treatment.

Your brows are an investment, and with proper care, they'll remain beautiful and vibrant. You must follow the aftercare for optimal results, and as an experienced artist I can often tell if proper aftercare has not been followed, if not followed in some instances an extra top up session may be required to get the best results, this will be an additional charge.
